Kirby L. O'Donoghue, Murray,  is the Council’s student representative. Ms. O'Donoghue holds a bachelor of science in agriculture education, and is currently attending Murray State University in the master of science agriculture program. She served as the student body president with the Student Government Association, the student regent with the Murray State University Board of Regents, and the chairman of the Kentucky Board of Student Body Presidents for the 2010-11 academic year. As chairman of the Kentucky Board of Student Body Presidents, Ms. O'Donoghue served as the coordinator of the 2011 higher education rally in Frankfort.

Ms. O'Donoghue is currently teaching agriculture at the Lone Oak High School in Paducah, Kentucky.

Ms. O'Donoghue will serve as the student representative on the Council until June 2012.
