John S. Turner has served as Council chair since January 2007. He served as vice chair in 2005 and 2006. Mr. Turner is president and chief executive officer of Angell Demmel North America in Lebanon, Kentucky. Prior to that, he served as vice president of business development of Montebello Packaging in Lebanon and as general manager of Portland Forge in Lebanon and Teledyne Packaging in Carrollton. Mr. Turner currently serves on the board of Farmers National Bank in Lebanon and the Lebanon/Marion County Industrial Foundation. He has been a member of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Advocates for Higher Education, and the board of trustees for St. Catharine College. Mr. Turner holds a bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University. Mr. Turner was appointed to the Council in 2004 and will continue to serve as until December 31, 2009.
