CPE President Bob King elected to national higher ed governing board

Bob King, president of the Council on Postsecondary Education, was recently elected to the executive committee of the State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) based in Boulder, Colorado. SHEEO is a nonprofit, nationwide association of the chief executive officers serving statewide coordinating boards and governing boards of postsecondary education.

The executive committee is the governing board for the national association. Its members are recognized by their peers as leaders in the profession of state policy for higher education.

King is in his fourth year as Kentucky’s higher education chief. His term on the SHEEO executive committee runs through September 2013.
