    Tuition rates for an academic year are typically established in the preceding spring as part of the institutional budgeting process.
  • Reciprocity Agreements
    Currently, Kentucky participates in tuition reciprocity agreements, which provide that eligible Kentucky students pay the in-state tuition rate at a participating out-of-state institution.
  • Mandatory Tuition Waivers
    Kentucky law requires Kentucky public postsecondary institutions to waive the tuition charged to specific groups of individuals. 
  • Faculty and Staff Tuition Waiver Policy (25K PDF)
    This policy permits regular, full-time employees of Kentucky public, postsecondary institutions to enroll and waive tuition for six college credit hours per semester at any public institution
