Kentucky: Council on Postsecondary Education

Research & Development Voucher Program

The Kentucky Research and Development (R&D) Voucher Program is a $3 million investment fund that enables small and medium-sized Kentucky-based firms to undertake research and development in partnership with Kentucky university researchers. Investments are made in technology refinement, prototype development, and commercial product development. The program goal is to expand knowledge-driven research and development capacity in Kentucky by investing in innovation and public/private partnerships that lead to new or value-added companies, jobs, technology, products, processes or services. The R&D Voucher fund is administered by the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation and managed in partnership with the Council on Postsecondary Education.
