  • Kentucky Internet2 Initiative
The Kentucky Internet2 Initiative allows all universities, colleges and schools to use Internet2 applications, via high bandwidth and high performance, which enable collaboration among researchers, instructors, students and interactive access to information and resources in a way not possible on today’s Internet.
  • Kentucky Regional Optical Network
The Kentucky Regional Optical Network (KyRON) is the next generation network for Kentucky’s postsecondary education community. KyRON’s new optical network technology enables it to scale to meet the education community’s ever-growing network demands for bandwidth and high performance at a reasonable cost.
  • ESRI Postsecondary Site License Program
The Kentucky Division of Geographic Information provides support to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) which administers a statewide ESRI site license for institutions of higher education. In exchange for an annual fee to ESRI, colleges and universities have unlimited rights to use the majority of ESRI software products which can be used for research and instruction by faculty, registered students, and administrative staff.
  • Kentucky Learning Depot
The Kentucky Learning Depot is a digital library that allows P-20 educators to share engaging, quality, and standards-based digital content to improve their courses. The Depot provides a single point of entry where users can discover, rate and reuse learning content that has been peer-reviewed.
  • P-20 Data Collaborative
The Collaborative is an initiative of CPE, the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) and the Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) to build a shared data repository that links student and teacher data across educational levels in order to conduct policy and applied research to improve K-12 student learning and postsecondary access and success.
