Virtual Learning

  • Go Higher Kentucky
    The Go Higher Kentucky Web site interactive website helps Kentuckians plan, apply, and pay for college.  The site includes online admissions and financial aid applications, as well as services for adult education and GEAR UP Kentucky participants.

  • Kentucky Virtual University (KYVU)
    The KYVU offers one-stop access to affordable college credit courses and professional development programs offered online from colleges, universities and state agencies.  Students receive their academic or continuing education credit from the KYVU providers.

  • Kentucky Virtual Adult Education (KYVAE)
    This award-winning Web site, a partnership between the Kentucky Adult Education and the Kentucky Virtual University, helps Kentucky adults achieve their education goals, including skills improvement, grade level goals and/or completion of their GED.  Many different online curriculum products are offered free to eligible Kentuckians and are supported online by trained adult educators.

  • Kentucky Virtual Library (KYVL)
    The KYVL provides free access to electronic databases, library catalogs, a virtual reference desk, Kentucky historical materials, research method tutorials, and many other resources. These resources offer convenient learning for K-12 students, librarians and educators, college and university faculty and students, and adult education educators and learners

  • Kentucky Virtual High School (KVHS)
    The KVHS offers a range of online services to help schools meet their goals for high student performance and high quality teaching. KVHS offers Advanced Placement classes,  foreign language classes, core curriculum courses for students as well as professional development for Kentucky educators.

  • KyEducators.org
    Developed by the Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) in collaboration with the Kentucky Virtual University, KyEducators.org addresses the needs of Kentucky educators by providing timely, efficient professional development through online courses designed to present research-based best practices.

  • KYVU4K12.org
    The KYVU, in partnership with the KVHS and KYVL, provides online access to and technical support for K-12 curriculum and tutorials under the guidelines of the federal "No Child Left Behind" legislation. The KYVU4K12 also supports the GEAR UP Kentucky program to bring expanded services to low-income students and their teachers.

  • Southern Regional Education Board’s (SREB) Electronic Campus
    The SREB Electronic Campus is a comprehensive source for information about higher education opportunities in the South, whether traditional campus study or e-learning. The Web site is designed to meet the unique needs of adult learners wishing to start, continue, or complete their education as well as traditional-aged students planning for, exploring, and applying online to colleges and universities.
