Cultural Competence:  Embracing Unique Perspectives

Roula Allouch,  a nationally recognized attorney and civil rights activist, will share her perspective on the value of embracing cultural backgrounds and perspectives of individuals and teams to maximize professional growth. Allouch will share stories about her experiences living and working in Kentucky, along with sharing tips for ways attendees can enhance their own cultural competency.

About our presenter: Roula Allouch is a trial attorney for Graydon Law, located in Cincinnati. She has experience handling a range of litigation matters including in the areas of employment, civil rights, personal injury, and workers’ compensation appeals. Allouch earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky in 2003 and her juris doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2006. She is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Kentucky and Ohio and before the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
