Make plans now to join CPE for the Second Annual Convening of Summer Bridge Grantees, where we'll discuss the challenges and strategies for first-year transition support. Local as well as national experts will be on hand to provide first-hand success stories and the measure they took to get there. Beyond learning best practices, attendees will have the opportunity to network with other program coordinators to strengthen partnerships and facilitate collaborative efforts.

Registration for all participants is free. However, please note that registration currently is limited to invitees and their guests only. Summer Bridge grant recipients may bring up to three program staff and up to three student participants. However, open registration for all may be available as space allows; check this webpage in September for more information.

Location and Logistics

The University of Louisville Conference Center is located at the institution’s Shelby Campus at 450 North Whittington Parkway in Louisville. Directions and a campus map are available on UofL’s website. Free parking will be available.

A self-serve luncheon with meat and vegetable options will be provided to accommodate vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets. If you have additional dietary restrictions, please contact Trinity Walsh via email at trinity.walsh@ky.gov.

Travel expenses should be reimbursed through the participant's employer institution’s summer bridge grant funds.

Call for Proposals

For those interested in facilitating sessions, CPE is accepting calls for proposals by Sept. 4. Sessions should be 45 minutes in length. We encourage you to plan engaging and interactive elements in your presentation plan, as well as to include handouts or materials for participants.
