Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education

Governing Board Equity in Student Success Project Kick-off Event

On behalf of the John N. Gardner Institute for Excellence in Undergraduate Education (the Gardner Institute), the Association of Governing Boards (AGB), and the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, we thank you for being a part of our launch of the Governing Board Equity in Student Success Academy on September 14, 2021.  Over 140 Kentucky Trustees, Presidents, institutional leaders, faculty and staff attended this inaugural event featuring national and regional higher education leaders. Attendees heard about the imperative for appropriate and effective governing board engagement with institutional efforts to address equity in student success and the unique opportunity for the Commonwealth of Kentucky to serve as a national model for this work.  The interest and engagement with this topic throughout the launch was palpable.
