Selection Process
We will accept applications until Monday, July 13, 2026. The hiring committee will choose 3 to 5 candidates and invite each one to at least one virtual interview. If there are many strong applicants, we may hold a second round of interviews. Finalists will have one week to accept or turn down the offer. We plan to have both interns start on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, and the internship will run through Friday, April 30, 2027.

Each internship is about 20 hours per week and pays $20 per hour. The work is hybrid. Typically, 7.5 hours will be in-person on Tuesdays at the CPE office at 100 Airport Rd., Frankfort, KY 40601. The remaining 12.5 hours will be scheduled virtually and with consideration of your academic schedule.
