MCTC welcomes military service members, veterans and their families. Earn a degree, diploma or certificate on campus or online, or prepare for a job. We offer flexibility and support services to help you reach your goals while serving your country or after you’ve retired from active duty.
Maysville Community & Technical College is approved by the state of Kentucky as a training facility for veterans applying for VA educational benefits. We accept all GI Bills, GoArmyEd, Kentucky National Guard Tuition Assistance, and the Kentucky Tuition Waiver.
Our Military and Veteran Student Services Center offers on-campus support and provides referrals to tutoring, counseling, disability and career services.

Kentucky Tuition Waiver Program
The Kentucky Tuition Waiver Program is an educational benefit provided for children, step-children, adopted children, spouses, and un-remarried widows and widowers in recognition of military service of certain disabled or deceased Kentucky veterans. Transferring Military Credit
We realize that learning isn't limited to the inside of a classroom or to individuals of a certain age. Whether you've been working for years or you're a younger student ready to start your college experience, opportunities for receiving academic credit for college-level learning that you already know are possible.
Through the use of prior learning assessments, or PLAs for short, colleges in our system can measure the college-level knowledge you've gained through your day-to-day life and offer you credit for that prior learning and specialized training received through military service.
